  • at a lake in texas i found a bunch of nuts that look kind of like walnuts but, they arent. when i cracked them open on one half of all of them was the outline of a heart. what kind of nut is it. it is longer than a walnut and didnt have the fleash.

  • I just bought a bag of unshelled raw brazil nuts and I'm having a terrible time getting the things shelled. It seems like the nuts are trying their very hardest to stay attached to the shell. I end up cracking them and flipping half the shell.

    I think the nuts are too fresh. If you let them age the skin will pull away from the shell. I don't know how long. Try it again in a week or more. Brazil nuts should be the easiest to shell.
