Repair a Crown Victoria Idler Arm replacement Bushing?

2000 Crown vic Police pkg. 126k miles. The bushing on my idler arm is gone. Do i have to replace the whole idler arm or just by the bushing kit. Because it would be easier to replace the bushing since all i have to do is disconnect the centerlink.

Money wise, the bushing is a better deal, BUT do you have access to a press, or do you have the ability to improvise. That bushing is in very tight, and getting the old one out can be a trick if.

    Blown head gasket?

2000 pushrod 3. 1 alum head malibu that has about 70k. It had a blown head gasket 3 years ago under extended warrenty. I took it down to the local garage, they tried to do a pressure test but they said LIM gasket was so blown it would hold no.

    Boat engine evinrude help?

I have a 1991 evinrude 40 hp 2 stroke engine. I rebuilt it last summer. New pistons, resealed everything, new liquids and dipped the carbs in chemicals. ( I forget what it was now) I got it to run but have two problems. First the wiring for the cut.

Not a chance of it being the fuel pump -- the "push-to-prime" just opens a valve to let fuel drain from the carb bowl into the cylinders, if the pump is faulty, there'd be no fuel in the bowl.
