i have a 79 ford f250 custom v6 and i got it running really good but then i tried to start it up and forgot to push the clutch in and it wouldn't turn of even when i took the key out so i turned the wheels and it shut down but now it wont start.

You probably have the only V6 79 F250 in the world. If the engine isn't even trying to start or turn over, the issue is probably with the starter, assuming the battery is in working order.
